How to prepare an apparel tech pack manufacturers can actually use
The sections a useful tech pack needs, and what to do if you are not ready to make one yet.

Minimum contents
Front and back views, points of measure, tolerance if you have one, fabric direction, color references, placement measurements for prints or embroidery, and label positions. Call out anything that must not be substituted.
If a contrast panel exists, show the panel shapes. If the fit is oversized, write the intended body length and shoulder width rather than only the word oversized.
If you do not have a tech pack yet
Say so. Send reference images, a competitor garment you can describe honestly, and the measurements you care about. A manufacturer can still start a conversation. They cannot, however, be held to details you never wrote down.
Urban Stitch Wear accepts quote requests with or without a tech pack. Missing files simply mean more clarification before anyone should talk about production.
